Frederick Thomas Bidlake - Timekeeper

He was a timekeeper in cycling, motorcycling and for seaplane races in the 1930’s.
He helped found the Road Records Association and the Road Racing Council.
This panel shows him recording timings as a standing figure surrounded by tachymeters (timing clocks). Bidlake died following a collision with a car in Barnett Hill, North London There is a garden and memorial at Girtford Bridge, near Sandy.
