Frederick Thomas Bidlake & Tricycle

1m x 1m
This design shows Bidlake undertaking his great tricycle record crossing a tickertape bearing his name. Below are two timing clocks. Above him are stylised riders of the modern age as tribute to his legacy.
The clocks in both Bidlake designs record his greatest record, 410 miles in 24 hours. Each of the six clocks shows four hourly markers with the red hands recording the mileage at each four-hour point. Beneath each clock will be two small plaques with the time stages and the according mileage.
Bidlake died following a collision with a car in Barnett Hill, North London. There is a garden and memorial at Girtford Bridge, near Sandy.
