The project is conceived as a collaboration between the chosen mosaic artist Oliver Budd and communities of the market towns: Sandy, Potton and Biggleswade. The aim is to leave a legacy of times past for many future generations to come, by creating a heritage trail through each of the towns. The designs for this project have been created from visual and written information gathered from the three towns: word of mouth, personal memories, schools and History Societies. The project manager Carolyn Blake will liaise at various stages of the project with the three towns, using local workshops to train the communities in the techniques of mosaic making.

The project began in January 2017 and will be completed February 2018.
